Frequently Asked Questions
What is a "happiness rod"? Penile prostheses (penile implants) are commonly known as "happiness rods". They are the last and permanent treatment method for erectile dysfunction in men who do not respond to erection pills, vacuum devices, and even injection therapy. The operation involves replacing the spongy tissue (corpora cavernosa) inside the penis with rigid or inflatable cylinders, which takes about an hour. In all penile prostheses, surgically implanted devices are completely concealed inside the body and are not visible from the outside. Men with penile prostheses (happiness rods) can engage in sexual intercourse whenever and for as long as they want. Many penile prostheses are covered by SGK (Social Security Institution).
What are the types of happiness rods?
1.Single-piece happiness rods: Malleable (always in an erect position)
2.Two-piece happiness rods: Semi-rigid happiness rods.
3.Three-piece happiness rods: Inflatable happiness rods that can be inflated as desired. They are also divided into two types: a) Three-piece inflatable happiness rods that expand in width. b) Three-piece inflatable happiness rods that expand in width and length.
How is the happiness rod surgery performed? The surgical approach varies depending on the type of prosthesis used, the patient's history, and the surgeon's preference. During the surgery, which is performed under anesthesia, a three-piece inflatable happiness rod is placed through an incision made above the penis, in the lower abdomen, and scrotum. Meanwhile, a short, flexible tube (catheter) is inserted into the urethra and bladder to empty the urine. Usually, a small surgical incision is made either at the junction of the abdominal tissue and the penis or below the border where the testicular sac (scrotum) joins the penis. No tissue is removed in this procedure, and bleeding is usually minimal. Therefore, blood transfusion is almost never needed. Patients can go home the same day or stay in the hospital for one night, depending on the physician and hospital procedures. The operation takes about an hour. After implantation of the happiness rod, pain, swelling, or bruising may be present for about 2-4 weeks. In such cases, your doctor may prescribe pain medication. Patients can have sexual intercourse if approved by their doctor 4-6 weeks after the prosthetic surgery. Neither the implanted happiness rod nor the surgery for it affects the pleasure of sex, orgasm, or ejaculation in patients. Patients can engage in sexual activity and have children as usual. Penile prostheses increase erection in the penis but do not routinely elongate it.

.Is the Prosthesis Visible from the Outside? Absolutely not. When it comes to prostheses for arms and legs, people may wonder if they are visible from the outside. However, in the case of penile prostheses, the procedure involves implanting the prosthesis inside the penis, under the skin, so it is not visible from the outside. Even your partner of 20 years will not notice the prosthesis after 6-8 weeks.

Will I Still Be Able to Enjoy Sexual Intercourse and Have Orgasms After Penile Prosthesis Implantation? Yes, you will. The prosthesis is implanted into the erectile tissue of the penis, so the procedure does not affect the part of the penis that is responsible for sensation. Therefore, you will still be able to feel the warmth, softness, and lubrication of the vagina during intercourse.

Does the Penile Prosthesis Prevent Ejaculation? Does It Affect Fertility? The penile prosthesis does not affect urination or ejaculation. It has no impact on your ability to conceive a child.

What Is Penis Enlargement Surgery?
Penis enlargement surgery involves lengthening and thickening the penis by loosening and extending the suspensory ligaments and adding a graft to the penis. There are various methods to increase the girth of the penis, such as fat injections and grafting. We use the grafting method, which has the advantages of a smoother shape, greater thickness, and long-lasting results. Different incisions can be made in various areas during the surgery. The decision on where to make the incision depends on several factors, such as whether the skin of the penis is long enough, whether we need to extend the skin if we lengthen the penis, and where to obtain the graft, such as from the abdomen, leg, or buttock. There will be a small incision scar in the donor site, but it will usually disappear over time.
Recovery After Penis Enlargement Surgery Penis enlargement surgery takes about 1.5 hours. After spending one night as a guest, our patients are discharged the next day. We schedule follow-up appointments at regular intervals, and usually, patients can be sent back to their desired city or country after the third-day check-up. Six weeks after the surgery, patients are given permission to engage in sexual intercourse and can resume their sexual lives with ease.
Do Penis Enlargement Pills Work? Unless you have a hormonal disorder that started in childhood, it is not possible to enlarge or lengthen your penis with medication, supplements, or other options. There are various supplements known as penis enlargers, but none of them have any effect. The only way to enlarge your penis is through surgical intervention.
What kind of gains can be achieved after Penis Enlargement Surgery?
After a penis enlargement surgery, your confidence will increase, and since the penis is larger, there will be more sexual pleasure, let alone a decrease, there will be an increase in the quality of erection.
